I am looking for air conditioning for a 40. I actually have the whle unit from a 60. All I really need is the in cab stuff. But I can sell that and buy the whole fj40 assembly. Any way, its needed.

factory a/c in a 40 is kinda rare. finding one at a decent price would be rarer.
have you tried Vintage air?
just came home from a trip 1500 miles and definately like the air in my 40. I'm considering buying a running rusty rig 83 40 with air and parting it out so I can get another factory unit, maybe for the 45 LV

I do agree with you, somethings are impossible to find. I am a resto guy and factory air would work out just perfect. I might have to go with a company or something. But, you never know whats out there until you try.

I have an A/C unit that came out of my 78 FJ40. It is not stock but looks great in my opinion.
It needs a compressor.
I am asking $350 O.B.O.
