Dont know were to post this, so if im wrong please feel free to move it,

Looking for
LH side wiper motor and arm,
Glovebox lid,
Front bib lower clear lenses (bullet type)
Dash knobs (wipers, lights, choke?, all are missing)
25 series 16inch rim,
LH side door handle mech,
Picture or specs on the turn sig arms, (so I can fab up some repros)
Air cleaner assy,
Steering wheel horn centre,
Specs on the soft top bows for a 28,
And last of all (for now:D) any info on what rear lights were fitted if any.

Thanks in advance
Cammo

When my second 28 turns up will find out what parts are on that, willing to trade, swap, barter and sell.

It's a bad bug that. :p

These parts are common with the early 40 so you should be able to find locally:

Glovebox lid
Front bib lower clear lenses - Available as a reproduction from Spector
Dash knobs
Air cleaner assy
Steering wheel horn centre

Picture or specs on the turn sig arms, (so I can fab up some repros)
The semaphore flags on the side of the body (winkers)? We didn't get them in the US.

These things are probably unique to the Aussie made body:
LH side door handle mech,
Specs on the soft top bows for a 28,
rear lights were fitted if any.

25 series 16inch rim - Usually the hardest to find, but you've got some other challenges here. :D

Do you have the vacuum wipers or electric? I think the arms for the electric are still available from Toyota.

Would it be wrong to put the same as the US or early 40 tail lights on, this 28 has a factory toyota rear on it, but the doors are aussie built, I was thinking the round red early 40 taillights,
changing the parkers to clear lenses with amber globes for the indercators, and moving the parkers in to the headlights, all to keep that early look but without having non gen stuff on it.
The aussie built bodys had what ever the dealer bolted on to pass Aus design rules at that time. there was no set type of lens.
want to keep it looking factory by using all toyota parts, even if they are of a later model.

I changed my lower bib lights to dual filament orange bulbs, for turn and marker lights. Because of its age no one questioned it.

This how it was done on the FJ25s in the US. Dual filament with clear lens was correct for the FJ25s. I would think this would be a better option than putting the parking lights into the headlights. All the bib lights were able to have dual filament lamps just need to solder in the second wire. These are easy to find probably available new from Toyota. Just need to get the part number for them.
