Want to swap 1998 LX470 non-nav bezel

Hi,

I saw someone's LX470 which have LC A/C bezel I asked him, he says I bought it used from dealer like what you see. He don't know how 1st owner did it.

So, anybody know how to do it?

I had to swap the bezel from my 98 LC -> 00 LX and vice versa. The buttons that controlled the air flow weren't working in the LX.
After swapping, the LC (with LX bezel) works perfectly, as does the LX (with LC bezel). It's a very straightforward process just pop out the bezel w/ trim tool and unplug the wiring harnesses. All the wiring harnesses match up nicely between both.

I tried to install the bezel of the LC in my LX directly, but it didn't work. Even when wire harnesses and plugs are match. I faced what you faced “The buttons that controlled the air flow weren't working in the LX.” But with LC bezel.

Hey Cbranch, you put an LC center bezel in your LX, too? Can you send a picture? I need to replace my trim around my radio and climate controls and am looking to see if there is a way to put a LC climate control into the 1998 LX, too. Thanks

Let me know if you need a different angle. This is the '98 LC bezel swapped into the '00 LX. Works great

That looks incredible! Plus you have those nice LC knobs for climate control. The electrical connections were easy to match up from the LC climate control and all? With the radio swap, you can't use the subwoofer in the rear, right?

yeah all connectors matched up perfectly, it was a really easy and straightforward swap. I'm gonna have to actually listen to hear if either truck's sub is working, most likely not but i always attributed it to age and being one tiny woofer but maybe it was the head unit all along
