Hello everyone.
I'm trying to track down a LX450 or 80 series cruiser with lockers F-C-R.
PM me what you have

Thanks for the heads up.
I was hoping for something more local so I don't have to deal with transit and customs

Finally got my new to me '97 LX450 home today pretty excited with this project!!! :D
I didn't even know that there was such thing as original Canadian spec LX450 until I found this rig with only 198k km on it, zero accidents and LOCKERS!!!! All for $4,000, yes that cheap...

Nice score, I thought I did pretty good with my '96 FZJ with lockers at 4K, but its been nothing but problems engine wise, suspect head gasket is kaput.
Pictures??

Hopefully mine won't be that bad.
So far I got a few issues I have to deal with
- brakes are spongy so I'm guessing air in the lines
- odometer stopped working (I hit the reset button when I filled gas yesterday on my way home but it suddenly stopped)
- yellow oil light comes on with speeds above 100km/h
- cosmetically not really perfect. Driver side seat torn, steering wheel torn, front rear bumpers has seen better days, rust spot under rear wiper. Besides that it seem pretty good so far. I'm gonna schedule an over all look down with ATEB just to be sure tho

Here's a quick pic of the rig :p

Awesome find! - keep us posted

Went to Costco Richmond today and came out finding this
How the **** did that person not feel that he hit my car?! FML!!!

I always try to see the best in people but man Richmond people makes s***ty drivers...
Ow well, good reason to get aftermarket bumpers now.
Maybe next time I go to Costco I should park nose in so they can tear off my rear bumper too so I can replace that aswell lol

Agreed. Most of Richmond is just unpleasant and hostile. We are forming a Tsawwassen militia allied with the heavily armed rednecks in Point Roberts whose mission is to close the peninsula just south of the causeway. We intend to occupy the police station, post office and the Liquor Quicker store. Select Ladner residents will be allowed through the cordon based upon an entirely random set of qualifications. Big hooters and 'adaptabe' morals are a plus. Any migrants of Dutch descent must be taller than 5'8". That is all.

Awww man... Almost made the cut... Above 5'8" but wrong decent:cool:

Ive actually seen that on a few cars. Thought it was pretty funny.
Best ones are "L" or "N" on super cars. Thats priceless

Cyrus. Get Jason at Crusin' Offroad to build you a bumper. Someone, who will remain nameless, borrowed my 80 to go into Ladner town centre a couple of months ago. They backed into a car and did $3,000 damage to the car. My 80 has a little red paint mark on the corner. Second time my 80 has damaged another vehicle. A few years back it was a Mercedes at the Ladner rec centre. Lots of damage to the Mercedes and non to the 80. Again, not me driving.

I think I met you at Starbucks one day. I have a white 80 with a few non-stock items on it.

Sailor. Now you have another Mud member close by who can help you when you get stuck on a log in the parking lot at Centennial Beach.

Hey Greg,

I remember your rig. I've been eyeing your rig even before I even got my LX450.
Wanted to check your rig out but you seemed pretty busy so I left you be.
I used to drive the black F350 before I sold it and replaced it with the LX450. I'm not sure if you've seen it around Ladner before.
I'm actually looking into 4x4labs front bumper just because it has more clearance and more space to mount my Warn 16.5ti that I took off my F350
As for the rear bumper, I'm not decided yet. A fellow mud member and a fellow wheeler did recommend Jason for armor for my rig so I'm looking into his designs too.

Ps: I'm selling the tires and wheels off the F350 incase you know anyone :hmm:
