Hello,

Nice truck.

The 1GZ seems to fit well in the Prado's engine bay.

Is it possible to deactivate one of the two cylinder blocks? I remember reading it was an option for this engine.

You may have put some ideas into the minds of some folks here with such an engine swap.

Wow, that is pretty epic. I seem to remember @Locked79 was working on stuffing one of those into a dual cab 79, not sure whatever happened to that.

As far as I know by talking to Ivan (owner) the logic behind that engine is like in Aircraft, if on part fails, there is back up. One ecu controls 6 cyl, second one controls other 6. There are two fuel pumps too. The car was designed for Japanese Imperator, that is why it is done the way it has been done

Oh wow, I was under the impression the v12 trans was a bit unique, just the tailshaft section? Pretty cool
The biggest thing according to the owner, he also does customs swaps, it was to figure out engine management. This is 4th engine in this car, originally it was 1KZ, then he ran it with 2JZGTE, then 3UZFE, and now 1GZ.
