First things first, deep clean. Was not surprised to find signs of animal in the HVAC but wasn't too bad.

Deleted the ABS.

Donor vehicle is completely stripped. I am waiting on a rear sump oil pan and a set of chilkat motor mounts to set it in.

Made some progress. Rear sump oil pan will work great with a modified cross member. Working a little with Chilkat to make a 2wd 3vz-RZ motor mount.

xmsn mount cut from the 90.

Swapped sides on the shifter arm.

Unfortunately Chilkat doesn't have time for experimenting with the motor mounts I'll need. Awesome company and total transparency with my project. I ended up making my own by modifying the 2rz mounts.

Coolant, heater, brake booster and transmission cooling lines installed.

Cut and dropped a crossmember.

trans mount and driveshaft complete.

Finished up the fuel system using AN adapters and bending the return and vent lines to fit the drivers side. Hopefully the HP power steering line clears the battery tray I have yet to finish.

It's nearly alive, cranking but not firing.

It's alive! Long way to go but it's nice to hear it run.

Running great and shifting through the gears. Wiring the dash is killing me. I feel like no harness matches the schematics.

She's a runner. Made it to the grocery store and gas station. Still plenty to do. I have a friend 3d printing an intake adapter for a cone style filter and I needs a muffler.

What a treat. Only 2 codes. Rear o2 and vss which I knew would come up.

what is the deal with the vss? speedo is working.
are you going to resistor mod the rear o2 or cat it?
Resistor for o2 and tach is due in Tuesday. I have a vague plan to steal vehicle speed from the back of the speedometer. I used the 90 Speedo cable and had to remove the Tacoma vss off the transmission for it.

Legend. I think exhaust might be the hardest part of the project.

easier on a 2wd. you aren't fighting dl/tc clearance.
How'd you route yours? The torsion bars are forcing me to run it a certain way that won't make it easy to go over the transmission crossmember. The 4runner swap I did had so much more room.
