Hey everyone. I have been building and tearing down my pig for about 6 months with the assumption that at some point I would find my vin plate. I just got done gutting the interior and still no luck. I have a plate that gives me my model number in the engine bay but not a vin. Any idea where it would be? Thanks

Body VINs should be on the plate in the engine bay, in front & above the pass side wheelwell & on the driver side B pillar. Frame VIN is stamped on the front pass side where the bumper mounts. I'm assuming your 69's the same as my '72.

My '76 has the VIN on the frame, drivers "B" pillar and in the engine bay.

My '67 FJ45LV has it ONLY on the frame rail.

Hey guys. Thanks for the info. On the B pillar, where at? That is the one I was hoping to find. Is it just riveted on? It may be there but the PO painted everything red, even the seats... nice huh? So there is a chance its there but maybe painted over. Thanks

The VIN plate on the "B" pillar is low. It's a plate, you'd see it if it were painted over.

my early '70 is mounted facing out, below the rear door hinge, driver side.
