VI Cruisers Christmas Party, December 18th 2015!

We'll start the night off at Spinnakers Brew Pub (Spinnakers Gastro Brewpub & Guesthouses) at 7pm for a hearty meal and some craft brew. We have reservations for a group of 12, but they can accommodate more. Spouses/Partners are welcome!

Following Spinnakers we could proceed to downtown Victoria for a bit of mischief and mayhem. At this point we are no longer VI Cruisers, haha.

I'd be grateful if you could confirm your attendance. Post in this thread or PM me (gtssportcoupe). If we have more than 12 people they will charge us an 18% gratuity.

Was thinking a gathering in the Vic area, maybe talk a couple of our Nanaimo members into grabbing a hotel in Vic area, maybe on the out skirts and having a small get together at a pub?

Not sure if anyone was interested including Nanaimo locals.

Thats a cool idea Rob. I know Coastal Cruisers do a Christmas thing every year. Maybe could become a tradition for us too. I think we were planning on having a meet in December anyhow, and people were wanting a Saturday. So maybe we could just merge the two.

I've got a 500sq/ft empty bachelor suite in my house you guys could crash at if you want (I got sick and tired of renting it). Could sleep quite few in there...

Finding a weekend people are available is tough. What were you thinking would be good?

We have a couple few nice brew pubs in Victoria. Could make a reservation at one of those. Spinnakers maybe? Spinnakers Gastro Brewpub & Guesthouses Right by the ocean; good food and beer there.
 
The better beers of Europe are meant to be drunk at room temp. There are several in BC liquor stores that
get much better as temp gets closer to room temp. These ales are/were some of my favourites of all time.
 
So what day are y'all thinking? If we're going to do this, we should try to make a reservation asap. Might even be too late for that.... Saturday 12? 19?
 
Inner harbor ferries might still have a pub crawl ... u pay 20 and u can go from pub to pub on the harbor ferries.. canoe club, Lure, blue crab, flying otter, and several others..
Or there is moon under the water on bay street..
 
We are getting close, lets throw something together...?

I am up for just about anything...;)
