Hello guys I'm taking a week vacation starting today on the island and I'd love to go for some trails and off roading. I got a 1994 rhd 1hz vx limited with 33" tires 2" lift kit, hi-lift jack, locking diffs etc etc. Anyways would anyone be up for going? Or if u guys have an event in the next week that I could join or if there are trails that I could go and explore on my own without getting into too much trouble. Thanks.

Ill be tubing the cowichan river Sat. Camping at Stoltz campsite. Call my cell and perhaps we can fit in a trail run from there (close trails to play on). Its near the south end of lake Cowichan.
We drop tubes in the river at Skutz falls, tube down the river for 2hrs. after that lets go for a chew if you can make it up that way. Get Googling and figure out where im talking about. If you can make it up there by 2-3pm on Sat we can go find some trouble.

so you plan to manage to say somewhat sober during that tubing?
a friend who used to do that a lot said they'd periodically see cops in hip waders in the middle of the river checking for booze...
in other words, get good at hiding the six pack under yer butt in the tube

Thanks for the advice. No worries though.... I'm going to hide it in my "banana hammoc" should'nt look suspicious.
I'm feelin more like some of BC's finest herb anyway. Your events might have something to do with my newfound sense of dryness.
