We need a landcruiser swap and shop on the island once a year to trade and sell our junk to one and other....i could supply the land to have it on...

anyone interested in organizing this with me can call me at 250 228 0516 or post...my name is Morgan

Wanted fj40 parts....call w/ whatever you got.

Post if you organize it I will be on the first Ferry over.....parts aren't easy to come by unless you buy a donor truck

HA sorry man...but if ur way up in coombs...there isnt much of a chance...almost like the malahat is too big of an hurdle for most of the club members to overcome, if your willing to drive down to victoria there COULD be a chance, but i wouldnt get my hopes up for much of a turnout....

You guys let the Malahat slow you down try the Coquihala you guys are soft, you can always take the ferry to Tsawassen then jump on the Duke Point ferry maybe they will give you some kind of club discount that would be awesome a ferry full of Cruiser guys.

heh, it's not us folks north of the malahat that have the fear...

I always laugh, if you're selling some stuff on usedvictoria, you'll get 400 replies, soon as they find out its north of the malahat, people refuse to drive up.

Doesn't matter how cheap it is.

it's like some weird victoriaphile phobia.

Swap meets a good idea tho. i have room for it too

( plus I wouldn't have to transport my s***. ;p) but further south would work better...

Wierd Island mentality

I've grown up here and it's true. Growing up near Durance Lake it was considered a long way to just go into town. After living in the interior I've got over it. That said I've got a family now and am not likely to dig out boxes of TLC junk and haul it up Island.

Post what you're looking for and we'll let you know what we've got.

i agree about people not wanting to drive but if there was a once a year meeting with tlc swap meet, events like a trail run or two....and good eats and camping near the trail head...it would be fun anyways.

I know the rover guy's do a swap/meet/BS session/run once a year or so at my buddies place in duncan... looks like alot of fun. I'd be in if someone was organizing something like that!

hmmm...you aint talking about the Sutfin clan are ya?

used to work with one of those skinny buggers...

but yeah, it's a good idea. now we just need one of those planning folk to make it so...;p
