Post 15 from Chris puts it at 49 Tire.

At least that's where I'm headed.

See ya'll there.

Again..... Big thanks to Chris.

We got soooo much done.

2 valve jobs - Tony and ? (before I got there)
1 lift - and not a simple one - Lash
motor mounts - Barry
1 arb compressor installed - Chris's
1 arb locker air line installed - mine

Chris, you are the man for letting us crash your place again. Thanks so much.

Tony, thanks for the planing.

Glad I could contribute to the cause.
Lash, hope you made it home ok,
Tony thanks for the tasty refreshments, hope you enjoy Utah!;)
Thanks to everybody that came out,

Chris

Look at Tony's avatar. What's up with that? Is that where she is going to ride? I'm riding behind you if it is.

HUGE THANKS to Chris for use of the shop. Hope your back/leg feel better soon!

Yes. I made it home in FRONT WHEEL DRIVE!!!!!!!!!! (4-High with no rear driveshaft) My front driveshaft has a vibration when I lift off the throttle, but who cares since I usually don't engage the front unless I'm in 4L.

The left rear tire had some slight rubbing on the tail pipe on bumps, but no damage done.

I'll get the new driveshaft drilled to the correct size (M12) and check the pinion angle to see if rear shims are needed.

Thanks to all who helped on my truck especially Jeffro Bodean who stuck with it (tolerated me) the whole time. I really enjoy working with and learning from you guys.

Sorry for the curve balls: U-Bolt Flip Kit, Flipped Springs, Driveshaft Issues, Extended Brake Line, etc

Thanks again!!

Or unless he goes wheeling once every 2 years:D

Glad you got it done.

Thanks guys for all of your help!!! Chris you are the man once again. Barry and Heath really pulled their 66.6% contribution on the valve adjustment. Greg's 33.3% input allowed us to carry on when we ran into a snag. I believe that his advice was to ignore anything we weren't sure about. Great advice!!! Truck ran well on the way home. Also, Greg forgot to mention that my transfer case saver was also installed.

All that is left at this point is to cut and grind a little metal and drill some holes for the winch. Then there is the issue of NO 4WD. We'll get her fixed up.

Jeff, you can't ride behind me!!!

Thanks again guys.

Well,... for your information,... When the GunRunner is not getting wrenched on, it gets in 4L EVERY WEEKEND! Please remember my neighborhood is only 1/3 developed. That leaves 2/3 of the old farm land for me and a few 4-wheelers. There are gravel roads, mud bogs, steep off-camber (yes I know what that means thank you), and some tall grass that I regularly leave my tracks in. Jace and I have one favorite pond that's loaded with brim. That's right, I can lock in the hubs without leaving the neighborhood. I also occasionally drop into that swamp behind my parents house (opposite that mexican restaurant on Lakeland) and bash my side mirrors on the 4-wheeler trails. That's why I bought the front brush guard. If I cut a half dozen trees to widen the trail, I could make it all the way to the river from there.

No. I have not been on more than one TLCA sanctioned event (GSMTR '05), but that does not mean I'm not getting a little mud on the tires.

But thanks for caring.

See you at the SCC - 10/13-15

Well it worked.....got him all fired up about wheeling the cruiser crawl:flipoff2:

I need to drill and install my driveshaft after measuring my pinion angle. Might need shims. Greg, can I borrow your angle gauge? Then I'll need to cut the last couple of feet off of my tailpipe and have a shop bend me up a new one. Did I mention the GunRunner has a 94" wheelbase?

I'm in Tupelo on Saturday, so I'll be wrenchin Sunday.

Other things to get done before the SCC:

Tuffy Console and Stereo Install
Finish CB Install
Rear Diff Gasket & Refill
Rear Bump Stop Relocation
Cut Fenders - Install Flares
TREs
35 x 12.5 MUD DAWGS
York OBA??

How about late October??

Late Oct will be too late for the SCC!

I meant wheeling in my neighborhood in late October.

I'll be web wheeling and wrenching right up to the SCC.
