I have been going through about 20 years of LC stuff that I have managed to hoard, whoopps, I mean store! I have a 45LV, out of a '66, gas tank with frame mounts and straps that's been in the rafters of my garage for 20 plus years. I am not needing it, my original plan was to intsall it under the bed of my '62 SWB PU. I have decided to go 100% stock with my truck. I looked in the adds but didn't find any listed. I was wondering what a fair price might be? I think I have some inside door handles and a RT side LV fender running board as well.

I'm missing a few inside door handles so I'l like a complete set if they don't match what I have already
Tank value: What would you get for scrap metal price for it? How much would it cost to have one fabricated? If you got $500 bucks for it and the buyer called you back and said it was a piece of junk-full of rust and fell apart would you feel bad? If nobody needs one then you'll have a hard time selling it if you ask too much.. Are you willing to ship?

Guys interested in door handles, I'll try and get them rounded up. I know there are several, but not a full set. I am working non stop through this week end so I can get out of town for a week with the kids, so it will be a couple of weeks before I am back on this project.
I didn't mean for this post to be a ersatz for sale add. I was just after a ball park value based on what may have sold in the last year or two. I have a bunch of stuff that I am going to be trying to clear out soon and just want to know a fair price to ask. Thanks for the reponses.

I too have a tank for sale. Hasn't been sitting in the rafters, but has been under the truck since 83 in the desert of washington. I think Orange Might have one as well.
Not to knock the LV tank but it is a very simple rectangular tank, no special shapes or anything.
