v6 4 runner rad / fan to swap into truck 2LT

Howdy folks:

Spent the day at the local pick n pull - saw a rad off 87 4 runner v6 - auto tranny - not a big deal

rad looks to be ok - i will have it checked out at the rad shop shortly

What caught my attention was the rad fan on this 87 4runner v6 - no fan shroud - but the fan blades were attached - as if a fan and shroud in one

Anyone have experience with this - was stock? Is good??

I grabbed it as I am missing the fan shroud from my truck- not sure if I am going to go with the Taurus electric fan mod yet

Sure is heavy -

thoughts? .... experience.....?

you mean like a round circle conecting all the blades?89 with a V6 i am trying to sell is like that

so no fan shroud- or a blade and fan shroud in one-

I'd say if the fan is the same size as the 4 banger fan then about the same job. The 3.0 still has a shroud that directs the air through the fan, and doesn't let the rad have hot spots on the corners...... Or something like that.
