[UT] 2F engine parts and transmission for sale - good rebuilt head & Trollhole carb

Well, my 1986 2F engine gave out - looks like loss of rings in one of the cylinders since I have a HUGE amount of blowby coming out of the PCV breather port on the valve cover and a bad miss.
See https://forum.ih8mud.com/showpost.php?p=8127483&postcount=59 to see the blowby smoke

I have been working on a SBC 350 rebuild for the 60, but it has been going slow at:

https://forum.ih8mud.com/60-series-...future-350-swap-how-much-torque-too-much.html

so this event will speed up that SBC 350 install. As a result I am going to part out the 2F motor which I previously have
invested in to make it perform well, but I am not going to invest in a short block rebuild when I can do the V8.
I believe the parts are all a good deal, but the market will determine that.
I need to move these as I get the parts off the vehicle so I can speed up that SBC 350 install.

I will be selling the low mileage rebuilt head and the rebuilt rocker arm, installed earlier april 2011.

https://forum.ih8mud.com/60-series-...putting-rebuilt-upgraded-head-my-fj60-2f.html

for info on that action. Not too many miles on that rebuilt head and fully refurbished rocker

I put abt $450 into the head (that included the 2nd head core) and $275 into the rocker arm via Rocker Specialists in CA, but will sell for less

so am asking the following:

$75 (OBO) + SH (abt $65) on the original head (I had bought a 2nd head [was $120 from Texas] to get rebuilt above, so I have this core still)

$100 (OBO) + SH on the coil and ignitor

$75 (OBO) +SH on the original dizzy, not yet modified

$75 (OBO) 6-to-1 2F header

$75 intake manifold
Has the $75 water cooling system install, but it leaked and never gotten around to fixing it. No cost for that if you take the whole manifold set.

$50 (OBO) + SH for carb cooling fan, works great

$50 + SH for JimC idler pulley which replaces the Air Pump

$275 OBO + SH AC compressor

SOLD: JimC mod'd dizzy $175
SOLD: $200 including SH, Trollhole carb, about 10 months old, has high altitude jets in it, but has low altitude jets in the carb space
SOLD: $330 (OBO) + SH (abt $65) on the head
SOLD: $150 (OBO) + SH (abt $25) on the rocker arm

At this moment, the whole thing is currently assembled, but will begin taking the parts off of it in the coming days/weeks. As I get individual parts off, I will post pics.

I AM Keeping the Xfer case and the Green Machine Alternator r.

Look at my above links which have some pics of the whole engine

Other power train parts are available and I will post them in the future:

2 year old starter - best offer
4 speed tranmission - best offer
transmission housing - best offer
flywheel - best offer
harmonic balancer - best offer

everything else on the engine is available for an offer. Even the short block, if anyone wants it for a rebuild or whatever.
If you think of something you need from a 2F, ask me about it. Someone might want it.

I might be interested but I'm confused by "low altitude jets in the carb space". Could you explain please?

sure, but the carb is sold

Marshall sends 2 sets of jets with his carbs: 1 is for low altitude and 1 set for high altitude. There is a "space" where the in operation jets are mounted, in that same space the extra set is "safely stored". One just switches to which jet set that is desired.

I'm looking for intake manifold vacuum fittings that screw on front and backside of manifold. You can kind of see one on orange manifold in one picture.

Also, do you still have Carb Insulator?

The ones on the top of the manifold? One in the back with fins and goes to the brake assist? the other a vacuum source for 3 hoses?

Yes, I do. I have no idea what to charge for those.

And a used, but very clean Carb insulator yes. Got it from SOR for $51.

SOLD

I'm looking for a double crank pulley for a power steering mod into a '77. Is yours available?

Pics of the "colorful" intake manifold with the under carb water heater. I mod'd this to work with the 6-to-1 header. The heater portion has a water leak, but I never got around to taking it off again and seal it up. That option was $75 by itself.

Manifold and heater both for $75 + SH

It is desmogged as the EGR pipe is gone.. The orange part used to have the EGR return pipe go to it, but that is all gone and the opening is brazened shut. The tube goes to the PCV valve.

Yeah, it is bit dirty, but if notice that is snow on the hatch. Too cold to clean today.

Do you have the bottom smog pump bracket? If so how much shopped to
97219?

Geez, I missed this post, sorry, I just read this during a review.

I do, but I modified it to hold a Saginaw pump, see below

Do you want to sell the Orange EGR or whatever it's called too?

Let me know...

that is the vacuum connector for the EGR, but is in desmogged condition now.

Sure will sell it With or without the manifold?

$75 for the manifold

$25 for the EGR vacuum adapter - I had the EGR hole brazened shut.

$90 for both as is
