Hi, I just wanted to know if anyone here has put their hdj81 with oversized tires 35's on a uhaul trailer. My vehicle does not run, and I can not find anyplace that rents out trailers besides uhaul. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

35's might be a bit too large for the straps to safely wrap and connect on the U-Haul trailers. Mine was fine with 33's but it was pretty close to the limit.

Agree with not telling em but measure the width, I have used one to ship LV with normal 33 x 11.5 I am guessing and it was snug. 35's you will need to use your own straps.

I put a non-running fj60 on a uhaul trailer a few years back. It had ~32s and I had to deflate them to use the straps. They also check the towing vehicle weight vs the towed vehicle weight (what you say you are towing..), and there is some minimum ratio required for them to rent it. Geo metros are pretty light... Could you put smaller rollers on the front 2 wheels?
