I would be interested in hearing the review on using it to hold a tablet, and if so what size it would be capable of holding. If it is a go, I think it could be viable for that use and other specialized video recording gear you don't want to mount to the windshield.

I have a Samsung android tablet all set up with Ram mounts that I mounted to my console. The console location is not that great when there's a passenger. Looking forward to getting mine up at dash height

RAM has lots of options but 1/4-20 is the most common BUT all the motorcycle guys use M10 so I wanted to make sure I covered both. Keeping it just to those two so I don't drive myself nuts.

Keep in mind I’m not 100% happy with it but I am like 95%. Any changes will be to function, not fit. I think I’ve taken fit as far as I can. I considered a strengthening rod but that would only work if there was an available hole for hardware.

Ok, here is something I just changed. I'm extending the angled piece to be able to make it more useful when using the 1" RAM balls and NOT interfere with the dash.

Made a few more adjustments to the mic to be sure it fits perfectly for most mic buttons. For those that want to use the metal clip, there is a backing plate coming.

BTW, also working on a ScanGuage Mount.

Grreat idea and execution! I just spent 60$ on a flimsy cup holder and I’m definitely going to order this.

Just to be clear, this mounts to the two screws that occupy that space correct?
