Hi, I'm a trailer noob looking for a used trailer in germany.
Is buying a 25 year old trailer generally a good idea or not?
It seems heavy duty, made by a good company here. I just don't know if that kind of age is going to make it inevitably dodgy. It was likely used to haul heavy equipment.

Thats a pretty sweet deck over. Like those sides. Just look for the usual..look for anything that looks broken or worn. Not a whole lot to a trailer. Haha.

Are you in Germany? They have a much higher level of regulation so I'd say if it's insured now,
and everything works then no big deal. But are the spring bushings etc all good? Damage history,
usual stuff. I'd be very careful about checking regulations, but doesn't older mean higher rates of
insurance over there?
