Few days after winning the auction on the HZJ76, I had a couple VA appointment in Milwaukee.

For the drive back home, I decided to verify the Gas Buddy website on stations that sold diesel.

3 out of 5 stations failed....

If things go somewhat "according to plan" after getting the vehicle I was hoping to make a few long distance drives.
Now I'm not sure if that'll be a good idea.

What app/site do MUD members use to find the locations diesel fuel is sold?

Thanks plenty in advance.

Around here (Midwest) 90% of fuel stations have diesel also.

I think it’s more rare to find one that does not sell diesel.

I cannot attest to big cities.

I drove a diesel truck for year and never had a problem finding fuel anywhere in the US

Granted, my travels have been restricted to a handful of southeastern states, but with the exception of the occasional mom & pop store in rural areas, accessing diesel has never been an issue.

On gas buddy you are going to diesel stations section right ?

I drove this 105 series from Panama to the USA in May. Almost ran out of diesel twice, once in Mexico and once in Texas.

It will do 100kms with the low fuel light on! 😉🤙

Cheers

If you wait long enough there will be a Buc-ees every 100 miles or so. 😁

Haha!

I've never had a chance to go to one.
Even with my "gypsy style" life, buc-ees and I never crossed paths.
It’s a life altering experience. 🤣

PNW - Finding diesel is no problem but consistent diesel is semi-problemie.

B20 here, R99 down there, B5 uptown. #2 over yonder, the B52s in the back. Cetane booster always in the drawers.
Whoa.
Didn't even consider the quality of the diesel...

It's been decades since I've dealt with water in the gas, thought the quality improvements applied to the diesel fuel as well.

Right - carry 2 bottles of diesel treatment.

Any specific brands that you had good results with?

Buc-ees what’s that 🤣😆

Low sulfur diesel doesn’t have the same lubricity as old school diesel and why I use an additive.
I use hot shot secret not sure if the additives for an old-school Diesel Toyota motor.
