Upgrading projectors in Amazonian LX470 headlights

I know the go to is modifying stock housings with Morimoto or equivalent quality projectors but the price of these Amazon knock offs is pretty darn good. It seems like it might be possible to upgrade the likely trash projectors these come with. I don't know if the halo rings are built into the projector or if they rest in front of them separately. Anyone ever open these up and see how things are mounted and how possible it would be to install a better low beam and high beam projector?

Save the money and go for a proper projector lens retrofit. The output of those aftermarket projector lens (cheap) are inferior to the OEM and the build quality of the housing sealant is known to not last long.

There's a company who basically does just this- opens up the aftermarket lights and installs new protectors.

So yeah, very doable.
