No, mine lasted about11 months and quit on me while I was in Key West with no way to utilize the warranty, so I had to buy a new one and exchange the BNR core just to get a little of my money back.

Give me until tomorrow, I wound up getting a different one about 2 years ago and it's still running fine.

Sorry, I forgot to reply to this, this place was recommended to me by a couple Toyota engineers I met at Overland Expo. I have had this one for 2 years with no issues.

If anyone gets one of these upgraded alternator I would be curious what the internals look like. An earlier post has statements from BMR saying better bearings, diodes and reinforced rotor. A pic of the rectifier at minimum would be nice. I've pulled apart/rebuilt OEM, denso and chinese alternators and am curious if there is a visible difference for the claimed upgrades.

My understanding is that some of these upgraded alternators are really just running smaller pulleys to overdrive the output. I'm not saying that's what BMR does, but am curious what the upgrades look like.
