I have a 2006 LC100 that was fitted with a Tekonsha Voyager by the previous owner in the ashtray compartment. I am looking to upgrade to the P3, and thought it would be as easy as unplugging the Voyager and plugging in the P3. But I find the Voyager is wired to the LC harness directly - see photo. I can use the Tekonsha 3040-P custom harness but the white plastic connector looks a bit different - are they standard?
The alternative is to cut the wires and splice in the new P3 pigtail.
I'd welcome any suggestions/advice.

I could be very wrong, but I believe that since yours is a 2006, it should have factory wiring set up already for a brake controller. Earlier models needed wiring spliced, but you should be good to go by just plugging in the new unit to the socket the Tekonsha is currently plugged in to.
