Hey all I’ve got a full aluminum dissent off-road front bumper. I’d like to return to stock. I noticed there is a cutting & drilling step on the dissent install. Is that going to prevent me from reinstalling the OEM bumper?
 
The drilling through the frame horns will not prevent you from returning to stock. You will need to get a new crash bar along with the plates that mounts from. Those plates need to be welded to the frame horns on each side.

Original crashbar would not be workable for some reason? Got a part no for the plates by any chance?
 
The bumper replaces the original crash bar.
I’ve got both the original crash bar and bumper. So all in need is to weld these plates on yeah? Guess there’s no way around that bit?
 
Yes, you need to weld the crash bar mounting plates on. No way around that. Here's what they look like:
