we are trying to sale 2 fj60 to start the 4door 40 project if anyone you know is looking for good, no rust 60s let me know here that build of yours is bad ass but is hard to find low miles 80s in florida
 
hey i have a question do happened to have a picture of how you bolt the front fenders to the 80 frame it would help me a bit i haven't been able to figure that one yet thanks
 
We set the entire truck up from the front 80 cross member, so the 80 engine was moved back about 3 or 4 inches. That determined where the fenders went. We cut the fj40 fender support bracket(piece that bolts to fj40 frame), welded a 90 degree bracket and bolted them to the top of the spring mounts.
 
note: moving the engine back meant we had to move the rad back too, so it actually ends up in notched in the frame..
