Tony,
The philosophy of the Ultimate Bracket is that at the limit of the articulation the axle should be resting on the bump stop, not the tire rubbing the frame/fender and not on the twisted suspension components.

To that end, I observed that a 2" drop bracket commonly available else where on a 4" lift simply does not do much. The axle does not reach the bump stop and the 35" tire rubs like crazy.

Due to its design, the rear bump stop can be made to any length 3" and up and it retains the 20mm M8 10.9 flange bolt.

The alternate block design requires longer and longer bolts and more then 2" make the bolt too weak. In addition, the non flange bolt of the block design comes in 13mm head instead of the correct flange 12mm head M8 bolt. that would be the correct JIT bolt for the LC/LX cars.

Hope this answer your question.

Yup, front for sure but not painted please. I'll get back to you on the rear. Paypal now or later?

Georg,
Let's wait with the payment to see if more people will commit.
In the meantime you can decide what length you need your bracket to be.
If you tell me your lift, I can help you decide.

4" with 35" tires. it's the wife's grocery getter.......:princess:

I think I better hold off on the rear because I am getting ready to change the arrangement back there which is going to be adding weight.

Did the second phase die out? Are you going to make another round? I am interested in front and rear. 4" lift 35" tires. Can mail mine with Georg's. I live a few minutes from his shop.

Sorry for the late response.
I will make another round when I can get few orders.

So far I think I have two, ChefFJ and Georg, but I will have to confirm with everyone once few more people will get interested.

FOR included a 2" drop kit for the bumpstops in the rear, must have lost the front ones in the mail, cause they were not in the package. You know, I could replace those rear ones with the ultimate's, what's the total $ for all four?

I would be interested in some fronts if still available, can you make them in shorter than 3"? I have J's front and rear with 35' MTR's with no bumpstop extentions at all, and no rubbing issues (the rear a tiny bit with no sway bar, but can live with it. I just don't wanna limit my front flex if I have no clearance issues.

On a side note, how are you liking the new Kevlars? I have about 1,000 miles on mine and wanna know what kind of wear you have gotten, mine hook up great in everything but sticky mud but ih8mud anyway!!

They can be made 2", 3" and 4".
If I do a batch, they will all be 3". But any orders pre batch will be done to prefered length.

Odd, I ran 35 12.50 r17 MFG KM2's with no lift at all, and i had no rubbing to speak of.

Do they rub on the mud flaps or fender flares? I removed both those items before I put the tires on.
