I like the paint and liner scheme a lot. Leave the rack off. It looks a lot cleaner that way. I now see why you are shopping for a rear bumper. Get some sliders and you'll be ready to go have some fun and not just drifting in the college parking lots.

I have to put the side rails back on, for a ski-rack for the winter but I'm going to redo it in black first.

The sliders are sitting in my living room, just have to do the bodylift before I install them. Might tackle it saturday/sunday.

I'm just going to stop by Slee's and have him install his rear bumper in a month or two...he doesnt know that yet tho.

Thanks for all the compliments guys, really appreciate it.

I've been planning mostly the same idea on the Line-X. However I am planning to do the fender bulges over the wheel wells too. Mine would follow the body moulding in the center of the doors though, not above it. When I win the lotto and get all that stuff done, you'll see what I'm talkin about.

Now all you need is an ARB rear bumper and a real roof rack.

My cladding was all nicked up and scratched so I wanted to replace it cheap, easier to line the whole thing then try and R&R the plastic crap. And to hell with the ARB rear...Slee rear ftw! ARB is too complicated with too many bolts and pieces, I want simple.

I'm going to hold off on the AO rack till I drive from NY to the Alaskan artic, no need till then.

Holy Crap! Some extreme changes - all for the better. If you are out in CO at Slee's shop - head a little farther west - into Utah - and we will really go test out your lift, bumpers, and line-x paint job. :steer:

Incredible - way to pull the trigger and good luck paying for it all. Sheesh - that's some money you've dropped into your truck. Happy Holidays - 1LoudLX.

That looks tough, I like the bedliner - almost did that to my 80. If I had a better appreciation for wheeling, I'd probably like it even more.

BTW - I had alcantara on a Volvo T5-R wheel & I don't recommend it - it looks like crap and I thought it provided less grip most of the time.

fawking ugly.:flipoff2:

Looks great.

nope...just felt like doing the BL incase I decide to go bigger on the next set.

12mm or so. How do you have the V1 wired up? just stuck to the dash and cig plug?

luod you ever think about continuing the line x(or whatver you used) up along the fender lines??? Like the 80 folks do.... took my idea out of my head! rig looks great!

how are you liking the arb combo? hows the front end droopage? thanks

I didnt want to cover up TOO much of my paintjob! haha. Like i said, My cladding was all nicked up and scratched so I wanted to replace it cheap, easier to line the whole thing then try and R&R the plastic crap. Maybe In a few years when I've got more scratches then hairs on my head(and I've got a full head) I'll get the fenders done, but in a color matched to the paint.

As far as droopage...i haz none! AHC ;) I love the bar though, FINALLY have one after all these years looking at trucks with it.

Glad to see I'm not the only 100 guy wanting to do this, although I think I may have been the first to actually do it to the metal, not the plastic trim.
