Hi All,

This is the rebuild of my M416. I am calling it the "Two Week Wonder" because I only had 2 weeks to get this done. Yes, I did get it finished in that amount of time. I am sorry that I wasn't able to get anything posted while I did the work. I was doing the work at my Dad's place and did not have the time. So here it goes!

The first photo is what my trailer looked like when I bought it.

The second and third photos are the beginning of the disassembly of the trailer at my Dad's house.

1. The fenders are off.

2. The tub is off. This trailer comes apart easily.

3. This is what I was worried about. The scale is no to bad and nothing is rusted through. This is why I am doing this.

1. The draw bar arms and bracket are now off.

2. I decided to put the lunette back in the draw bar bracket, so that the upper hole would not get sandblasted.

3. The landing leg, landing leg pivot bracket and the parking brake bellcrank.

1. Parking brake bellcrank and the bracket for the parking brake handle.

2. Now to work on the rest of the chassis.

3. The spring shackles are 1950s J**p C-shackles.

1 & 2. A couple of shots of the brake backing plates. I used the flash in the second photo and it washed out some of the detail.

3. The lunette, landing leg and the ball hitch adapter.
