I realize this thread might be born dead .. just wonder if any 70 series cruiser owner have options to share about tweeter pods / locations on your Cruiser ..

I’m running high end 2-ways in my door. You can do tweeter pods on the dash. Easy enough.

I’ve come to the truth that a really high end audio system isn’t practical in a 70.

Did you have a recommendation on a tweeter pod that might with .?

I'm on 26mm tweeter from Pioneer ..

I'm installing ( already on ) Pioneer TS-D69C

Pioneer claims they have a option for surface mount included for their tweeters, but honestly I didn't figure how is that even possible with the hardware included in the box ..

I don’t, I really like and use 2-ways. I’ve found my jacked up ears are partial to high end Polk mids/tweeters. Currently running their mm651’s.

For subs I prefer sundown’s.

I’ve had these in for must be 14 years or so now. Ones a little crackly so it needs attention, as do my door speakers. Not sure if your 7* has this spot, but it’s worked well on the BJ74.

Not much these days, thanks for asking. Sadly, the 74 is putting on the "bad" miles, being used as my daily, so the lockers have not seen much use. But having a LandCruiser as a daily is not a bad thing. Ying and Yang I suppose, lol.

Want to sell them?

They are staying bolted underneath for now. If backburner plans ever come to fruition with this vehicle the axles/cables may well migrate to the for sale section.
