Mine runs a stand alone ECU with MAP sensor and I just pulled the ECU globe from the back of the dash. Annoying orange light fixed. But if your ECU is a piggyback, you might want to do a little more experimentation before you go pulling globes.

I'll pull the bulb when I give up on solving the CEL. If I find a stock MAF I'll check the ohms at different temps and figure something out from there. I still need to trace the knock sensors wiring and see why they aren't working.

I just came across this thread and was surprised to see the Land Cruiser again!! I helped the original builder build the truck. We were partners in a turbo fab shop years ago. I'm actually the one who soldered in the Emanage Ultimate piggyback.

I was mainly surprised about the engine mod questions, like references to maybe it has head studs and such. You may not know what you have there. That engine, if its still the same one, has a custom ordered set of CP pistons and custom ordered Crower billet rods. A lot of time went into making that LC what it is. Not sure whats happened to it since but we had no lights at all.

To answer another question, the Emanage Ultimate was used specifically so we could remove the maf. It has a feature that allows you to enter in a "spoof" table that feeds the ecu what it wants to see. We basically monitored the oem maf outputs and wrote a duplicate map. Then you tune over top of that so the computers still happy and your getting the fuel and timing you want. It's kinda funny, when we were doing all that the supra forums were saying it wasn't possible.

Anyways, congrats on the truck purchase. Let me know if theres any questions I can help answer.
