Since Toyota is offering a 25% discount on parts this week, I'm planning to buy a set of Tundra TRD Pro wheels for my 2016 LC. I've seen them featured in several of Eric Sargeant's videos, and they look great! I searched the forums, but found some conflicting information. I messaged Eric last night, and he's been very helpful before, but I'm not sure if he'll have time to reply before the sale ends tonight. So, I hope someone else who has made this change can assist.
First, are the 2019 or 2020 Tundra TRD Pro wheels direct replacements for the stock 18-inch LC wheels? From what I've read, they are, but I've had some Toyota Parts people tell me that they might not fit, granted, with no justification. The offset, width, and hub pattern seem to match. I'm currently running 285/65/18 Toyo AT3 tires with a 2-inch lift and prefer not to use spacers or modify the tire position within the fenders.
Second, is there any difference between the 2019 and 2020 Tundra TRD Pro wheels besides the "Pro" and "TRD" badging? The center caps look slightly different: the 2019 has a red circle, while the 2020 does not. Are the finishes the same? I saw an older forum post suggesting the 2019 might have been available in both flat and satin finishes, but I couldn't find confirmation from Toyota.
Lastly, do you know the stock part numbers for the wheels and caps? I believe the 2019 wheels are PT960-34190-02, and the caps are PT280-35190-02. For 2020, I'm finding PT960-34200-02 for the wheels and PT280-34200-02 for the caps. Can anyone confirm these? Also, if the 2019 offers a satin finish instead of matte, does anyone know the part number?
Thanks so much in advance! I want to make sure I get the right wheels and avoid any issues, so any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
