Tumbler Ridge

Deny - when we went wheeling to Tumbler a few years ago, where exactly were we? Down the Red Deer Creek Road, past the bridge and then up to our right? Am venturing down there this weekend and would love to make it back up to the burn if possible.

Yup, thats pretty much it, cept after the bridge, its also up the hill then right, then you travel a while and before the road turns good (I think you can get in there from the west too) turn left up to the top of the mountain.

Thanks. I probably still have the track in my GPS so should be able to find it. If not, maybe I'll venture down to the end of the RD road... be reunited with my nightmare project... and see if they've finally pushed the road through. Never made it to the end when in there last year - quad blew up on me ~20km from camp and at that time construction had ceased although the road was mostly cleared.


So, when are we going to head into Christina Falls? If you're up for a trip I should probably snag my quad next time I'm home.

I don't know, my parents are up here for another week, and I only have August long wheeling planned, and possibly drive down for cruiser days if I get time off. We'll have to talk.

Unfortunately, I'm headed back in the morning. I need to get to Manitoba this week to visit with my folks and my brothers.

I'd love to spend some more time up here, maybe I'll have a chance to come up again in August....
