Anyone headin' out to TSD this Saturday? I might be going with some friends but was hoping to bump into a few SoCal 80s and say hello. This will be my first TSD if I can make it. :bounce:

Big drunk party in the desert from what I've heard...never gone. Big drunk parties with idiots driving around offroad just doesn't excite me.
 
If you go, drive way way way way far away from everyone to sleep at night. Everyone is packed in and they stay up all night long partying. The only time the music stopped last time I was there was between 4 and 6am, then it started all over again.
 
The plan for us was to go check out the vendors and the rigs and then head in the opposite direction and do our own run... away from the yahoos. Just going for the day.
 
Great event- and yep it does get a little wild. But that club does alot for our sport and they are real pro-active on land issues. They also have a great raffle.:D

I Bet some of you didn't know that FJ40's used to be the popular vehicle in that club back in the 70's. That's where I got the cruiser bug.

I will be down there , but not particiapting in any of the runs- Will be taking the Tundra and the new :princess: so it's Grapevine Canyon, Jasper Trail and maybe Lower Coyote Canyon. Then heading over to the evening festivities.
 
I'll be there again this year. It's really fascinating seeing the hardcore rigs "on parade" at the trenches. Going out there early Friday morning, leaving for home late Saturday morning.
 
Hoping to get there by 9am Saturday, maybe we'll bump into each other. I will be driving the LX450 with black rims and my buddies drive a red '71 Bronco and a gray '76 CJ. I will keep my eyes out for your black cruiser.
 
I'll also be with a buddy who drives a red J-sprung '91. We'll keep an eye out for you.

Well, I'm headed out. If I see that Liberty first, I won't have the means to post I saw it first. The best I could do is take a picture.
 
Dave I think you could sell a sh*t load of them at TDS but you would need to change the name to Beercanaroo, just saying.....:D
