UPDATE: I ordered the meat yesterday (3/30), but I just received a call from my shipping department that some new tractor tires showed up on a RAC truck and I need to get them out of there ASAFP because there's no room for our giant caviar shipment that is showing up shortly. After all, this is Aspen...:grinpimp::flipoff2:

Put them on today, drive out to I-70 and try to keep an even speed of 82 mph while staying on the road, and then call me and I will come and pick them up from you for $1,200 this weekend  :flipoff2:

Here's a bad cell phone teaser pic complete with Mud Salute:flipoff2::

I know they don't look that big in the picture, but that's just because I'm a hulking beast!:lol:

I want to see pics. I am planing to cut out my fenders soon do 5.29s soon after a set of 37z. I am hoping that my wife wont like climing up that extra 3.5" and I will have to go get her a 100 series. We will see how it works out:hillbilly:

Got those things on yet?

It's still winter here.:bang:

You'll find out that in the last 7 days Snowmass Mountain is reporting 43" of new snow!

Until this shiznit stops, I'm zipping around on 33" offbrand studded MTs. They rock in the snow and on the ice. Plus with 4.88s, a SC, and low ambient temperatures, my Cruiser is (dare I say it) "quick", at least up to 60 MPH...:meh:

It is somehwat frustrating walking into my shop and having to stare at those tires though.

Hey boss, the point of getting Trxus is how good they are in the snow. 37's fit that bill, too :flipoff2:

I know they are supposed to be good in the snow. However, my R&D shows that the only thing that works well on ice is metal spikes sticking out of your tires and into the ice.

If you recall, my wife proved my point here with our old Cruiser: https://forum.ih8mud.com/80-series-...saving-my-wifes-life-i-need-new-one-asap.html:doh:

Besides, my Trxus will last a helluva lot longer since I'll only be running them half the year, and I'll be doing a five tire rotation.:D

Ah yes, we forget. Little spikes are good when one lives in the northern shadow of a large mountain and everything that melts turns to ice quickly. :steer:

Get the tires on before the season ends. You will be shocked at how good they are. Black ice, no. But icy hardpack? Awesome.
