What advise do you have for trunion bearing grease? I just pulled apart my axle to install the marlin 25mm kit only to find both lower trunion bearings were trashed. One side was blown apart, the other side was covered in rust.

My assumption is that this was caused by water washing out the grease. Which is surprising since I used marine grease when I built the axle.

Does anyone have any suggestions for good trunion bearing grease? One which was specifically good for a truck that sees many water crossings, snow, and drives through 110* heat?

Their website sucks (turn your volume down before clicking), but the grease is awesome:

I've been using this on driveshafts for many years now and it really is water proof. It's the best thing for slip joints. When I rebuild my knuckles this summer, I'll be using it in the bearings. You can get it at most chain parts stores now, I have a nice Mac small grease gun setup with the stuff now.
