Truck Vault drawer system custom fitted for an 80 series. I do have a key for the lock but it doesn’t lock the handle from turning. Not sure what is needed to fix that. Otherwise the Drawers work fine. When I bought it the system was 48” wide, I carefully took the smaller end of the box apart and cut 5 inches out of it, so the exterior width is 43” and it fits between the wheel wells perfectly. I then modified the drawer to match. I took the drawer completely apart, cut 5 inches out of the appropriate pieces and put it back together the same way the manufacturer did.
I am only selling it because right after I finished I was given an opportunity to buy an ARB drawer system at a reasonable price. The ARB drawers is a few inches shorter than the truck vault which adds more space for my giant dog to ride along.
I had planned to add some wings to the box to crate storage on the sides but just didn’t have it long enough to get there. I also did not get to making the mounting points but I had a plan that I can share with the buyer.
The box frame is made of wood with a laminated exterior. The exterior is covered in carpet. The drawer fronts are made from a nice plastic type material. I think the smaller drawer is perfect for extra fluids and tools to keep it all separate from camp gear in the larger drawer but use it as you want.
Asking $500.00 and it is located northern New Mexico.
