... today I wanted to start my 45, but it doesn`t.
Searched a bit and found that the fuel wasn`t sucked in the filter and the fuel pump, unfixed the rubber line on the inlet side of the filter sucked some gas from this line with the help of a injection ( not a medical one) and than sprayed the fuel in the filter fixed all again than sprayed some engine starting spray in the carburetor... the 45 started and run fine drove about 40 miles with some stops than back to the garage .....no problems.

My fuel lines, the fuel filter, the fuel pump (mechanic) are all new, replaced them last year exept the fuel line wich comes out of the tank in the inside of the cabin. Think I had some air in the lines but what can be the reason for this air in the lines
Last time I drove the 45 was 9 days ago and had no start problems.
Any ideas guys ???
Thank´s for help
Cheers
Peter

After switched off the engine the fuel level in the carb glass shows 3/4

dsc00763h.jpg

one day later the level dropped to 1/4

two days later level was 1/8.

Is this normal and what happens when the level dropped to zero (the carb is empty) ?

Started the engine today on level 1/8 and had no problem.
Any helpful hints ??
Cheers
Peter

Some "trouble" (gone);) update ....
.... after removing the carb ( carb is in good condition) and let the 45 sit in the sun gas leaked out of the gas line * ... it was the tank venting ( the old ones vent over the gas cap) that hadn`t work well... so I put a good venting gas cap on it and it works fine ;).
Curious thing
Cheers
Peter

* all happened some weeks ago.
