Trouble posting pics (1 Viewer)

I keep having trouble posting pictures.
It is very random, sometimes it works, other times not.
I've tried resizing to smaller to no avail.
I used to be able to post big pics and the forum would resize automatically. Now, it doesn't go through half the time, sometimes it does though.
I have the same problem in private messages as well as forum posts.
Here's the error I get each time:

s***, it took me three tries to get that one to post! Finally a web page refresh (F5) and then it uploaded, and then it came in at the top of my message. Luckily that was just a click and drag to fix.

Any ideas on what I am doing wrong??

never had any issues until today, so i disabled flash, but now i get "server error occurred"
