Well we've sure got "trophies" now! My "alerts" are full of them....

Not sure if I should thank or blame rusty_tlc for this change though!

Are they useful for anything?

One burst of alerts, then all should be relatively quiet for a bit...at least until I determine other options that might actually be useful, and not just informative

By the way, if you mouseover the Alerts text, you can adjust your Alert Preferences, and turn OFF those related to Trophies

Why do we need trophies? Is this one of those things in today's society where everyone gets one?

Is there somewhere a legend of what one needs to do or does to get points?
How are these points accrued and at what rate?
It would be nice to get a IH8MUD bumper sticker after reaching X number of points!
I'd also be really cool to see a MUD sticker on some vehicle rolling down the highway and wonder if it's someone you've been blogging with!
