So I was changing my bearings the other day. Went to the dealer to purchase the lock nut, as the old ones were shattered along with the bearing (long story). Dealer info. showed 2 lock nuts are required, part# 43521-60020.
same as what's shown in the repair manual,
But this is what they are according to the dealer. A bit different - thicker, and has a flange at the bottom of it.
anyway, looking up and down www but cannot find any info. on how to use these properly. they are rather thick and install 2 plus the secure washer doesn't seem viable. Dealer did not have any answer at this point.
Does anyone have any ideas or advices re how to utilize these?
