Triple locked rusted out 97 FZJ80 for $1200-$1500, 230k, worth buying???

There's one local, has almost new 35's, body is shot, axles look good at least clean and somehow not rusted, frame is though. Considering it for the axles, is it really worth the time, money and effort to put these under my 62? What was the stock gearing? Anything else useful from an 80?

If the interior parts are in good shape you can probably recoop alot of the cost from parting out. Especially the electronics.

Any triple locked 80 is worth buying. I was watching there capability’s today…. It’s amazing. Makes me want to stop playing with the 60 series.

A stock 80 should have 4.11 axles. I think the WMS-WMS is wider. If the lockers haven't been used and the actuators are rusted, you'll be in for a nasty and expensive slog repairing those. Check the 80 forum for more info.

I would just part it for the money, and not try to put the axles under a '60.
