Yeah Bob, it's all your fault I almost plummeted to my death on Imogene. There wouldn't have been a 2 foot snow drift on the ridge in August.

That said, it was good seeing you guys, but I think Daisy was mad at me.

Day 5

After a crystal clear and cold evening, day five began with a relaxing breakfast for 2WheelBob, Ranch Hand and Jonharis while Bluecruiser was sleeping. As you saw in an earlier post, the others had ventured out on their own to see more sights as they made their way home. Bluecruiser decided leisurly pack up before the grueling 10 hour drive home. Somehow he managed to make his truck more stuffed than it was when he came down, which is odd because when he came down he had 5 wheels, and a a steering rack INSIDE his truck! to Ranch Hand decided to take the long way home after breakfast leaving only 2WheelBob and myself to enjoy the day. This afforded more time for photography and sightseeing.

If you have ever seen a calendar for Colorado and it contained photos showing fall colors chances are they are from one of three areas. The Maroon Bells, the Crystal Mill and Last Dollar Road. We were 45 minutes from the beginning of Last Dollar which flanks the western edge of the Sneffels Range. We hit the changing aspen trees on the mark.

So whatever happened to bluecruiser? You can't leave us hanging like that!

Jonathan - You are the master of the Nikon. Love the day five pictures and more importantly, the day itself. Thanks for sharing!
