I've noticed that a lot of people are running wheel spacers with the older version of the TRD Pro rims. Spidertrax 1.25" seems popular.
Is this a necessity for clearance, improved aesthetics, correcting the offset, or something else? I did a search, but I'm not seeing what I'm looking for.
I'm asking because I picked up a set of TRD Pro rims, that I will run with my 285 BFG AT KO2s, once I get them swapped over. I'm trying to figure out if I'm going to need wheel spacers to fit them. I'm on a stock suspension with factory alignment specs, no drawers, and no armor.
If I need them, I'll order them, no big deal, but if I don't need them, I'd rather not put them on, since it is one more thing to corrode - I drive this as a daily driver, they salt our roads, so corrosion is inevitable out here.
Thanks!
