I recently had a mechanic replace some gaskets on my 1990 62. It was nice to have no oil on the floor for a bit, however after three weeks I started to see the transmission gasket leak a bit especially after a long drive. Seemed to be just coming down off of one of the bolt heads. It's a cork gasket; I guess I'm wondering if anyone else has had to deal with this issue? Is there a better gasket? I used Cruiser Outfitters for everything. or maybe a trick to the install? Cheers!
