Hi guys,
I’m planing in developing a mechanical shifters for my Tcase .
Moving the rods mechanically, will set the electronics as well, since I’m not going to remove actuator..
Two levers will lock the diff and shift to low.
What do you think? Would others want a kit like this?

Sounds interesting but to me it would be a cost issue. If the actuator is toast then would it cost less than a replacement? If so then it becomes interesting. Also in the 200 you still need the relays and sensors to engage, at least for 4Lo, so it would mean retaining the existing switches and then manually activating the shifter.

I would also wonder about packaging of the shifters and what changes (if any) are needed to the console to make all this work..

Love the idea, question is whether the juice is worth the squeeze/cost.

The reality is the stock solution works excellent and issues only crop from the lack of use. Since I repaired mine 6 years ago and with monthly use, it's not missed a beat. Even once.

I can see a failure mode where water is ingested into the actuators from hardcore use rendering the electro mechanical switch inoperable. Might be where something like this makes sense. Or proactive maintenance / extension of the breather?

You do you but to me sounds like a cool for the sake of cool mod. The only case where I would actually put twin sticks in a 200 is if I actually put in a twin stick. Stellar built did an atlas II swap into a GX470, looked almost OEM. Front dig would be sweet.
