Does anyone know what the OEM no is for trans solenoids are for a 94 80? I looked on rock auto and they were all out. Did a partsouq and the same part came up for all 4 solenoids? I thought I read in the manual and another mud post that there are three different ones. I’m replacing no three because I got a CEL and I figure since I’ll be there I’ll replace all four. :wrench:

These are the same ones I did in mine and they worked perfectly

The smart thing to do since you're already going to be dropping the trans pan, would be to go ahead and replace all the solenoids at once, The reason i say that, if you're having problems with one solenoid it's only a matter of time till you'll have problems with another one, So buy the complete Isuzu set that ppc listed above and be done with it, that way you'll be good to go for another 200,000 trouble free miles,
 
Looks like the seller on the Izuzu parts above has sold out :-(
I searched the first part number on eBay but no luck.....If anyone knows a similar source/ auction/ etc pls advise, thx
 
get the isuzu solenoids from amayama. the nomad valve body doesn't come with solenoids.
 
Do you guys replace these only with a check engine light or with age?

I was putting a nomad valve body in so i thought might as well replace these at the same time. Good thing because I tested the old ones and one of them was open. Putting in a used transmission i haven't driven before.

Have you driven the NMVB yet? If so how did it perform?

No it's going to be awhile, still building the engine, injection pump, injectors, vaccum pump, engine swap wiring, cruise conversion... ETC
