Trans Question

Anyone out there know if an A340 out of a 92 3.0 V-6 4x4 would be a direct bolt in replacement for a 96 T100 4X4 with a 3.4?

I know they are both A340's, but I've heard there may be a difference internally???

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Depends. If you have an A340H the transfer case is mated to the transmission. So there could be issues with drive line lengths and a different way of transfer case engagement
