Hey all. I'm new to wheeling, does anyone have any suggestions of trails that a stock 62 can go down with out the need of a winch, lockers, large wheels, etc?
Any help would be appreciated, Thanks!!!

First, welcome aboard.

You're new so probably not wise to the "rules" of talking openly about locations (other than known public OHVs or parks) on the web, short version is that it's usually a bad idea.

If you search through the threads you'll find a few spots or hints of spots but there's absolutely nothing LEGAL near ATL, you'll have to go to Beasley, Durhamtown (See Pig Roast in 2 weeks) or shoot to Alabama for the closest wheeling. Of course, there's always Forest roads in north Georgia if that's your thing.

Frankly, the best way to find wheeling locations is to get into a group and you'll learn from there. FYI--Meetings are first Tuesday of every month.

Now go forward and Tread Lightly!

" you probably should go out in a group and not by yourself. Come wheel with us at Durhamtown in 2 weeks.

Great point Cid--never a good idea to wheel alone, bad things can happen very quickly

Thanks a bunch guys. Yeah the "not going out alone" makes a lot of sense (I just don't want to get stuck every 50 ft and have the same poor soul have to winch me out). Keeping trails on the down low makes sense too, Oops.
And about durhamtown, It looks like a ton of fun, but what time would people start to show up if they were planning on wheeling Saturday? I have a habit of getting very lost and showing up way too late and I don't want to get left hahaha. Also, do we bring just enough for ourselves or so everyone gets a taste of my moms delicious cookin? Thanks again for the invite :)
