Has anyone equipped with a Class IV hitch receiver downgrade to a Class III? For those ones that doesn't comes with a hitch receiver from factory, they have a wire frame harness with a bracket for the 7 and 4 pin connector mounted to the frame, I believed the part number is 821690W010. However, I don't think they sell the bracket separately.
From the information I gather, some people were able to fit a 285/70R17 into the spare tire location with either the Curt or OEM 4runner hitch, so I am going to try to fit 265/70R18 there since I don't really tow that often other than towing utility trailer for moving furniture. For those of you that downgraded how do you mount the two connectors? I know Victory 4x4 has a 7-Pin Relocation Bracket but it looks like it might be interfered with the spare tire.
