So I was in a hurry last summer and forgot to unplug my trailer from the truck. And I pulled the wires out of the plug and the shorted. I rewired it and all was fine. But the running/parking lights didn't work. I thought I fried the wires or lights. But recently put a new trailer on my truck and they still don't work. I hooked the new trailer up to a buddy's truck and they work. Is there a fuse in a random place I don't know of? Or did I do something worse?

On my '13 there are three fuse boxes: us drivers side under the hood, us drivers side under the dash, and us passenger side under the dash. Your best bet is to either check in the owners manual or google the fuse diagrams.

The box that controls the trailer lights is in the us drivers side rear, behind the trim panel.

Great, Wll have to take out my drawers?

I did. I had to take out my drawers, remove the hinged section that covers the tailgate gap, remove a pushpin fastener, and pop the left side panel off by prying it. I can't remember if I had to remove the second row sill trim, but I did. Unplug the connector to the temp sensor and the power connector. Once you get in there, it is right at the rear corner. I didn't try, but you may be able to get at it without actually taking the panel off (I was doing something else when I snapped the picture).

OK thanks!

Not having my rear seats in, I forget that you need to undo the lower seat belt mounting points, at least the third row, and maybe the second row, before you can remove the interior trim panel.

Sounds like a dream to deal with.

Not so bad the 2nd (or 20th) time you do it. It sounds more intimidating than it really is.
