Hey everyone,

Just letting everyone know that our 100 Series Plug-and-Play Keyless Entry kits are now live on the Trail Teq store.

100 Series Landcruiser Plug-and-Play Keyless Remote Entry - https://trailteq.com.au/products/100-105-series-landcruiser-plug-and-play-keyless-remote-entry

Previously we only had kits to suit Australian 100 Series, but now we kits to suit all Global Market vehicles (e.g. USA / JDM / European models).

There are two variants of the Global Market kits depending on your year model. If unsure, you can easily identify which type you need based on your Left Hand Side junction block / fuse panel which is behind the kick panel trim piece - see the pictures on the product page.

These kits are suitable for all 100 Series with factory central locking. They are also suitable to replace the original Keyless Entry systems. You don't have to remove any existing systems to install ours - just plug ours in using the dedicated wiring looms we make and you're good to go.

Full details are on the product page including optional extras such as the indicator flashing wiring loom (flashes for lock / unlock) as well as optional Flip Key remotes.

If you have any questions feel free to ask / send a DM / send an email!

Thanks,
Ben

Cool. I assume this just replaces the brown keyless entry controller in the (US) driver side footwell? Does it address the buried antenna problem that OEM box has? I'm seeing a different price but I assume this is USD?

So the key is an aftermarket blank that needs to be cut and programmed, but will work with existing ignition and doors, right?

Our kit's wiring loom patches into a different position in the door control wiring and works in a different way to the original system found in the US cars.

So that means you can leave any original Keyless Entry system in the car.

I'm not familiar with the buried antenna problem, but our module has it's own antenna and there is about a 50 meter straight line range for the remotes.

We're an Australian business, so the $225 you see in my screenshot is AUD and the store is priced around that.

The $165 would be USD, but it may fluctuate up or down a dollar or two just depending on the daily exchange rate of AUD / USD.

There are two remote options, no programming is required:

- Regular Two Button Remotes

- Flip Key Two Button Remotes

If you want to use the Flip Key remotes, you will need to take your existing keys + the new flip keys to a locksmith and have them duplicate the keyblade for you. The keys can then be used on the doors / ignition.

If you want to use the Flip Key remotes to start the car, and you have transponder chips in your original keys (which most made after 1998 do), you will need to transplant the transponder chip out of your original key and into the new flip key housing. This is because the transponder acts as an immobiliser - so even if the key blade is cut correctly, no transponder near the ignition = no start.

Our flip keys do not come with transponder chips, which is why you have to transplant your original ones in. We have a guide on how to do this.

Alternatively, if you don't want to do that (transplanting the chip), you can simply glue your original key / the chip out of it to the side of your ignition barrel behind the dash trim piece. This will effectively trick the transponder into thinking you are using the original key to start the car.

TAKE MY MONEY!!! Man this is awesome. I havent been able to get my LX470 into programming mode for my keyless entry and it's driving me crazy. Definitely ordering a kit now!

Silly question, it will work with Lexus LX470 right?

Sure will!

The LX470 and LC100 door control wiring is like-for-like.
