I know a group from MIOBI / Tall Corn is coming down from Iowa for howiepaloza at SMORR

GCC Meeting - Officer Elections - Membership drive and Raffle...

I'm debating on wether I'm going or not

Sound like fun.

I believe there is a group going to Tuttle Creek ORV 4/16 or 4/17. Will confirm and get info posted up here.

That would be great. Would really like to join you all. Do ya all normally meet up anywhere to drive out together?

We are going to Tuttle next weekend. There will be about 7 rigs so far. Some are going out Thursday, we are heading out on Friday afternoon. Camping across the lake from the ORV park, I think on the North side of the road.

I guess I'll meet you in the orv park on Saturday morning then. I did'nt have enough planning to camp.

Okay, now that I know we are really going to have a group, I was planning food per request of some who went to Disney and are supposidly going to Tuttle. Will do as I did there, if that is what folks want. I will share the cost with those who eat. Was thinking of stuff that is easy to do, breakfast burritos on Sat. AM, tacos on Sat PM and a crockpot breakfast casserole on Sun. AM. Most of the work can be done ahead of time so I have time to play. We could do hamburgers of Fri. PM if that sounds good. It seems to be easier if all the shopping is done by one person so we don't end up short of one thing and too much of another. If this is agreeable with everyone let me know so I can get to work. Rob and I will be there Fri. Peggy

Our group usually camps out a night or two as we have as much fun BS'ing around the fire as we do wheeling.

Good to know. My wife and I love to camp. We work different schedules so just need a bit of time for planning. I don't see that TAC has any kind of calendar so hard for me to plan. I just found out about this event last week and then didn't know much.

Thanks,
Michael

Really glad to hear you guys are going also Peggy, Rob and Michael. Do you know of anyone else from the club who are going also? Mark Olson has been talking with a Kansas 4x4 club who will also be there. They are all planning to have a big grill out at the Randolf city park on Saturday evening. Mark is bringing the charcoal for the big grills and everyone brings their choice of meat. I am not to sure of all the details yet. I've been trying to get Mark on the phone tonight, never this hard to get ahold of him! He has organzed about 12 friends of ours who are going in together on meals. Each meal has 2 couples responsible for a meal. I will talk to him soon and get more details, plus where we are staying. They have a big RV and we have our pop up. They are going out on Thursday and we are going out on Friday afternoon. Michael, I will be taking my FJ also, look for vudu blue.

I think the campground we are staying at is on the East side of the bridge and on the south side of the road. We have stayed there several times and they have a shower with flush toilets there. The Kansas Krawlers 4x4 members are going to be there also, someone checked with the Rangers and they said they would have that camp open for us.

Well, this information I will forget about cooking for the group. Glad I hadn't shopped yet!! Was doing it as requested by some of our other members, before we know of these plans. Rob is also trying to get ahold of the other Rob as this is not where we usually camp and he wants to make sure we have power. We are bringing the bus. At Disney there were others who said they were attending, but since no one has posted yet I don't know about them for sure. On Sat. are we supposed to bring side dishes? There is no mention of anything except the meat. Keep us updated.

We are organizing Friday and Saturday night dinners by half are bringing all the fixins for Fajitas on Friday night and half of us are bringing for a BBQ cookout on Saturday night. If you would like to play, your on my team for BBQ Saturday night. The Kansas Krawlers club is having their cookout at the Rahdolph park and they invited us to join them use the grills also but we will have our own food for our group of about 20. I have started a list of what people have signed up for so far. I'll bring cooking utinsils, aluminum pans, trash bags, just in case there are not trash bins. Everyone brings their own drinks. I have 1 or 2 more guys to sign up.

Baked Beans and Cole Slaw - Peggy

Asst Chips - Rob

6# Hamburger - Michael and Mary Gibson

Hot Dogs and Bratts, Forks - Debie and Lance

We are staying at the campground with the showers and flush toilets. Mark Olson is getting there on Thursday night and reserving a bunch of campsites in a new part where there is electricity. East side of big bridge and south side of road.

Thanks, Debie

Tuttle

Sorry for the Late posting. Here's what the local club and I have planned.
Saturday Morning- Meet at Randolph City Park at 8:30am. Trail leaders will be pulling out at 9am from Randolph City Park. There is a voluntary raffle for a $25 entry per person. 100% of all the money taken in will be given away at the BBQ at 4pm..

Saturday, April 17th, around 4pm, the trailkrawlers club and I are having a BBQ at the park in Randolph Kansas. It is a BYOB BBQ so only lit grills will be provided. The Park is easy to find...just right down the street from the General Store. Lits Pits will be provided.
go to www.trailkrawlers4x4.org for more info. Look under the trail Krawlin link. Or, call me at 816-804-0622.

Thinking of driving out early friday morning and wheeling all day, then heading back home friday after dinner. I have a wedding to attend Saturday evening or I would be there all weekend. Anyone else plan on wheeling Friday? Eric
